The CIO has a crucial and central role in spearheading the implementation of the technological infrastructure essential for successfully sharing information across the organization/company. Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement digital policies, protocols, and standards to facilitate seamless integration of technologies, data sharing, and cybersecurity best practices. 
  • Collaborate with upper management and senior IT personnel to formulate a digital transformation budget, focusing on investments in technologies and tools that accelerate the company's digital journey. 
  • Ensuring alignment of IT department strategies and processes with company-wide objectives, ensuring proper support for organisational goals. 
  • Establish data management practices to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security.

  • Oversee relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum requirement of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology. 
  • Extensive experience of at least 8 years in the administration of information systems and technology, with progressively higher levels of responsibility over time. 
  • Proven track record of successful IT leadership and strategy development in a complex organization. 
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, cloud computing, and emerging IT trends. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. 
  • Experience in managing international IT teams and projects.
