They are now hiring a Senior Sales Manager to design, build, and scale their sales function from the ground up.

This is a founding-team hire for a high-growth business. The successful candidate will not inherit an existing sales operation — they will create it. This role suits someone who has built sales engines before, understands what real selling looks like, and is comfortable operating with pace, ownership, and accountability.

The Role

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for building and executing the company’s entire sales operation, from first deals through to scale.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing the end-to-end sales process
  • Setting up CRM infrastructure, pipelines, forecasting, reporting, and sales playbooks
  • Personally closing deals in the early stages (player–coach role)
  • Shaping pricing, deal structures, and go-to-market approach in partnership with leadership
  • Hiring, onboarding, and managing future sales hires as the business grows
  • In the early phase, this role will function as the sales team.

Candidate Profile

Our client is looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience building a sales function from scratch
  • A strong personal track record of closing deals, not solely managing teams
  • Demonstrable sales success, with clear performance metrics
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front

  • Career sales managers who have not carried a quota
  • Candidates who require a fully established product, brand, or inbound pipeline
  • Individuals uncomfortable with pressure, rejection, or full accountability for outcomes
