My client is a specialist digital agency working with mission-led organisations to plan, launch and manage high-performing online fundraising campaigns. They help charities and non-profit organisations reach, engage and convert supporters through structured digital campaigns, strong creative execution and careful use of performance data.
As the agency continues to grow, they are looking to hire a Client Project Manager to support the smooth planning and delivery of client projects from initial set-up through to completion.
This is a full-time role, largely remote, with occasional travel to a central Dublin office.
The role
The Client Project Manager will be responsible for keeping client projects organised, on track and moving through the agency efficiently.
You will work closely with client services, operations, resourcing and campaign delivery teams to ensure each project has a clear plan, agreed deliverables, appropriate resources and strong communication throughout.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure and comfortable managing several moving parts at once. You will need to bring structure to busy workflows, support internal teams, keep clients informed and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
Project planning
You will:
- Work with the client services team to clarify project scope, deliverables and timelines.
- Build detailed project plans covering key stages, milestones, deadlines and resource requirements.
- Liaise with operations, resource planning and client service colleagues to ensure projects are properly staffed.
- Flag resource gaps or competing priorities early and help resolve them before they affect delivery.
- Set up the required project documentation, folders, files, task boards and communication channels.
- Ensure each project begins with clear ownership, agreed next steps and a realistic delivery plan.
Project delivery
You will:
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery across multiple client projects.
- Assign tasks to relevant team members and monitor progress against deadlines.
- Keep internal teams aligned on priorities, deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep the client services lead informed on client communications and any issues that may affect the relationship or strategy.
- Track progress against agreed timelines, budgets and project hours.
- Identify risks, blockers or changes in scope and escalate them where required.
- Ensure changes to scope, timelines or strategic direction are reviewed with the appropriate senior team members before being agreed.
- Review creative and campaign materials before they are shared with clients.
- Manage client feedback, amendments and approval processes.
- Help keep work moving at a steady, well-managed pace without unnecessary urgency or confusion.
Project closure
You will:
- Ensure final deliverables are completed, checked and approved by the relevant stakeholders.
- Confirm project hours and timesheets are up to date.
- Make sure all project files, documentation and assets are properly saved and organised.
- Support post-project reviews to identify learnings and improvements.
- Help the team improve future delivery by capturing what worked well and what could be refined.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 4 years project management experience, ideally within a creative, digital, marketing or campaign-focused agency.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage timelines, tasks, resources and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with both internal teams and external clients.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Slack or similar platforms.
- The ability to bring clarity and structure to busy workflows.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- The confidence to follow up with colleagues, keep work moving and maintain momentum.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues before they escalate.
- A calm, practical and positive approach to changing priorities.
- An understanding of how creative, digital or social media campaigns are delivered.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to motivate people across different functions.
Advantageous experience
The following would be helpful, but not essential:
- Experience working in a charity, non-profit or fundraising environment.
- Experience supporting social media or digital acquisition campaigns.
- Familiarity with campaign production workflows, including creative development, review and approval.
- Experience working with distributed or hybrid teams.
- An understanding of project profitability, time tracking and budget management.
The opportunity
This is a strong opportunity for an organised and proactive project manager to join a specialist agency doing meaningful work for purpose-led clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly, helping internal teams deliver excellent work and ensuring clients receive a well-managed, professional service from start to finish.
