My client is an established Irish business specialising in the design and delivery of branded environments and visual communication solutions. Working closely with architects, fit-out contractors, and creative agencies, they deliver technically precise, high-quality outputs across a broad range of commercial projects.

With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex projects to a high standard, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Signage Designer / Coordinator to take ownership of projects from initial brief through to production.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role combining design, technical artwork, and project coordination. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into production-ready outputs, while managing timelines, technical detail, and communication throughout the lifecycle of each project.

The role will suit someone who understands how signage works in real-world environments and is confident taking a project from concept through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple signage and wayfinding projects from brief through to production
  • Interpret client requirements and break projects into clear, deliverable outputs
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork for large-format and environmental applications
  • Produce technical drawings and layouts for client approval
  • Liaise with clients to gather specifications, issue proofs, and manage revisions
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, materials information, and production timelines
  • Support the preparation of project costings alongside internal stakeholders
  • Monitor timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed to schedule
  • Align artwork with site surveys, measurements, and installation requirements
  • Organise and prepare complete production files for manufacturing and print

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior signage or environmental graphics role
  • Strong understanding of signage systems, materials, and fabrication methods
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept through to production
  • Experience preparing artwork for large-format print and fit-out environments
  • Strong technical drawing and layout capability
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
