About the Role

Due to continued growth, my client is now seeking an experienced Account Director to take ownership of key client relationships and play a central role in the delivery of digital projects. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, with regular on-site collaboration required with both clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
  • Support senior account leadership in the execution of account strategies
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of client communication and service

Digital Project Delivery

  • Oversee the delivery of multiple digital projects concurrently
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, development, UX and content
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables and dependencies
  • Maintain oversight of scope, ensuring changes are clearly documented and agreed
  • Ensure projects progress smoothly and key milestones are achieved

Commercial & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor project budgets and overall account profitability
  • Track revenue across assigned accounts and highlight potential risks early
  • Support forecasting and pipeline planning
  • Ensure projects are accurately scoped and commercially viable

Process, Quality & Ways of Working

  • Ensure agreed internal processes and documentation standards are followed
  • Maintain strong organisational discipline across accounts and projects
  • Contribute to improvements in delivery, account management and reporting practices
  • Uphold quality standards across all client work

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in a digital or creative agency environment

Required Skills

  • Strong background managing digital projects, including website builds and platform-led work
  • Solid understanding of digital disciplines such as CMS platforms, UX, content, SEO, paid media and analytics
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and multiple stakeholders
  • Commercially astute with experience tracking project performance and margins
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
