Responsibilities:

  • Understand all the fundamentals of delivering a winning new business pitch and confidently take responsibility for all the operational aspects of a pitch.
  • Actively drive the creative output for your part of the account or projects to deliver on the overall account plan.
  • Advise your clients on their brand and communications planning, and identify areas in their business that can be converted into commercial and creative opportunities for the agency.
  • Use your ambition, restlessness, passion, and drive to motivate the team around you.
  • Have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of your client’s business, strategic imperatives, competitor set, and how they make money.
  • Manage fee and production within budget for your areas. Develop out-of-scope fees and understand how to construct fee proposals. Reconcile budgets and re-deploy fee to maximize agency retainers and/or production budgets. Evaluate all estimates for clients, ensuring consistency.
  • Interrogate and challenge the client feedback when necessary to protect the work.
  • Partner with media and other agencies to realize the possibilities of our creative thinking and create a communications plan for the client that becomes irresistible.
  • Actively drive the agency’s creative agenda, helping to create work that the agency and client team are proud of.
  • Take barriers and restrictions and use them to your benefit to create tight briefs for teams, giving them creative freedom.
  • Bring all of you to work, your passions, your hobbies, creative pursuits, and side hustles.

Requirements:  

  • You have at least 2/3 years of experience as an Account Director in a creative agency.
  • +5 years of agency experience is advantageous.
  • You have a track record of successfully establishing client relationships and creating new business opportunities.
  • Effectively manage budgetary aspects, including fee and production allocation, development of out-of-scope fees, and budget reconciliation
  • Active contribution to the agency's creative agenda, fostering pride in work among agency and client teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders regarding brand and communication planning, identifying opportunities for commercial and creative growth.
  • Lead by example, aiming to be the best at what you do.
  • Take bold leaps, even if that means you make mistakes along the way.
  • Be a curious person who always tries to feed your mind with new ideas.
  • Skill in leveraging constraints to create focused briefs, granting teams creative freedom
  • Negotiate and manage any conflict where necessary.
  • Give your energy and ideas to continuously improve the work without your ego in the mix.
