We are seeking a Senior Account Director who will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction, managing expectations, and maintaining high work standards. Along with managing client business growth, your responsibilities will include developing creative briefs, pricing, project planning, and overseeing design, production, and event execution. 

In this role, you will oversee multifunctional teams, drive profitable revenue growth, and strive for operational excellence. Collaboration with creative, studio, and postproduction will be essential to maintain creative standards and deliver exceptional experiences.

Previous event agency experience and knowledge of the Irish events market, including suppliers and vendors, are required.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior clients in your portfolio. 
  • Cultivate client relationships through regular meetings, calls, and social occasions. 
  • Implement the end-to-end client services roadmap, including briefing, creative development, pitching, budget management, contracting, invoicing, and debriefing. 
  • Develop new business responses for global brand and employee experience clients. 
  • Set standards for the team, including project planning, pricing, debriefing, and client communications, and provide necessary upskilling for junior team members. 
  • Create creative briefs for various departments such as Creative, Design, Production, and Postproduction. 
  • Develop detailed event budgets for medium to large-sized events, ensuring profitability and accurate quoting. 
  • Take ownership of updating and maintaining the CRM system. 
  • Play an active role in developing Scope of Work (SOW) and pricing proposals. 
  • Collaborate with different teams to maintain creative standards. 
  • Drive efficiency by applying agile and efficient work methods. 
  • Foster an environment for the best team and work to thrive. 
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and profitable implementation of client plans. 
  • Adapt quickly when clients change their briefs. 
  • Integrate into the company's working practices and adhere to established processes. 
  • Provide on-site support to the team as needed. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting, with at least 2 years in a similar role. 
  • Proficient in Experience Design, Brand Strategy, Event Creation and Design, and Audience Planning. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. 
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional creative work. 
  • Experience in both live and virtual event environments is preferred. 
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop complex event budgets for large-scale events and consistently deliver profitability. 
  • Confident and experienced presenter, capable of effectively selling ideas and delivering client presentations with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Able to provide impressive references/referees attesting to past performance. 
  • Possession of a driver's license and preferably own car.
