Our client one of Irelands leading brands, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join their team. 

This role is crucial for managing key client relationships, leading strategic advertising campaigns, and driving business growth through innovative solutions. 

The ideal canidate will be the primary contact for clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including creative, media, and production, to develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining and nurturing strong relationships while understanding their business needs.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies that align with client goals.
  • Oversee the development and management of budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and growth.
  • Partner with the business development team to create compelling proposals, pitches, and strategic plans to win new business and drive agency growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes to innovate and differentiate our services. 

Requirements: 

  •  A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • +6 years of experience in advertising account management or direction, with a strong focus on strategic planning and client relationship management.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and social media.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate complex ideas to both internal teams and external clients.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, budgeting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive business growth.
