We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced UX Web Designer to join our team with a 12-month contract.  

This role involves leading the user experience strategy and execution for a prominent tourism website, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and effective user journey for all visitors.  

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in UX design, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Develop and lead user experience strategies to achieve business and performance goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify target audiences and understand their needs and behaviors.
  • Oversee the design relationship with Third-Party Agencies, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Implement strategies to enhance website conversion rates.
  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar to track user behavior, report performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on user behavior analysis.
  • Identify and improve underperforming pages to boost engagement and visibility.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with the digital, content, and regional teams to optimize the website for visitors.
  • Justify the need for changes confidently and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. 


  • +5 years of experience in UX design, ideally within the tourism industry or a similar conversion-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD, as well as analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis with the ability to drive performance improvements using insights from historical data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design projects and experience managing relationships both upwards and downwards.
  • Ability to confidently engage with clients and stakeholders, advocating for necessary design changes and justifying their importance.
  • Proven ability to articulate and defend design decisions based on user insights and business objectives.
  • Ability to expedite design production efficiently.
