We're seeking a dynamic Social and Digital Media Executive to join the Breakthrough Cancer Research team, an amazing organisation fighting cancer through funding research in Ireland and all over the world, and help them raise awareness and support for their amazing work. You'll develop and execute strategic digital marketing campaigns to reach new audiences, engage our community, and drive donations for our vital research initiatives.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to grow brand awareness and engagement.
  • Craft compelling content (written, graphic, and video) for various social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, conversations, and audience sentiment.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns using Google AdWords, Meta Ads Manager, and other tools.
  • Analyse data and provide insights to optimize campaign performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative and passionate about storytelling and digital storytelling for social good.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design, video editing, and website management tools (a plus).
  • Knowledge of cancer-related issues and the needs of people affected by cancer (advantageous).
