We have an opening for a Senior Cloud Engineer who has expertise in managing the infrastructure of various data-related systems such as data lake, data warehouse, data migration, data analytics, and data integration. You will also be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and alerting cloud-based resources to ensure high infrastructure reliability. You will mentor junior members of the team and stay updated with new technology trends.

Responsibilities: 

  • Set up, maintain, and monitor data lake, analytics services, and MuleSoft integration. 
  • Use CloudWatch and Datadog to monitor system health and take action to improve it. 
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform or other tools. 
  • Refactor cloud infrastructure with IaC tools. 
  • Manage identity administration for users, groups, roles, and policies. 
  • Troubleshoot and participate in RCA efforts. 
  • Evaluate and manage new tools and processes. 
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Introduce and demo cloud solutions to stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate application deployment models. 
  • Document processes in ServiceNow Knowledge Base. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration with Linux and Windows. 
  • 5+ years of experience with core AWS services and a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services. 
  • 2+ years of experience with Terraform. 
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and have an AWS SAP/DevOps certification. 
  • Proficiency working with AWS services through the CLI and/or management console. 
  • Comfortable managing AWS services (e.g., RDS, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, DMS, Lake Formation, EC2, Serverless, ECS, EKS, Load Balancing, VPC). 
  • Familiarity with CICD tools like Git, Jenkins, Code Build, Jira, and Confluence. 
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Datadog). 
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and shell scripting. 
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
