As part of a major growth initiative, they are seeking a Global Market Research Manager (maternity cover position) to bolster the Transitions Customer Insights team and play a crucial role in shaping and informing key business decisions. 

 
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and providing strategic insights and analysis to support the development of new products, brands and categories. You will manage research agencies and suppliers, and work closely with stakeholders to understand key insights and help them make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execution of the Customer Insights Roadmap which includes conducting market research, briefing research agencies, and presenting the findings to stakeholders. 
  • Providing guidance on the most appropriate research methodologies and identifying suitable suppliers for studies. 
  • Sharing insights and knowledge with various teams based on the research findings, as well as providing the team with the latest updates.
  • In-depth analysis for top management on issues that have a significant impact on the business. 
  • Collaboration with the Legal and Product departments on product claims. 
  • Assistance of multiple teams in evaluating the performance of key assets such as advertising, partnerships, promotions, and other ad-hoc studies. 
  • Support of the Data team with quality data to inform the dashboards. 
  • Leading the Customer Insights team with projects and tracking progress. 
  • Ensuring that all legal and financial requirements with suppliers are met for the department. 

Requirements: 

  • BA or MA degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar research role, with a focus on primary market research, and experience with international, B2B2C, pharmaceutical or optical industry is a plus. 
  • Proven research skills with experience in various qualitative and quantitative methodologies for innovation, brand, and media studies. 
  • English proficiency (oral and written). 
  • Ability to independently lead and manage projects. 
  • Collaborative attitude, attention to detail, ability to navigate a deadline-driven environment.
