A well-known footwear company with over 40 years of experience in the market is looking for a creative and motivated eCommerce and Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will become a key member of the marketing team, overlooking delivery of online promotions and product launch campaigns, managing the merchandise on the website by development of sorting rules by categorisation, as well as maintain, analyse, optimise and report on the website's performance and KPIs.

Your responsibilities will be divided between three areas:

Online Content, within which you will:

  • Execute digital marketing efforts across a variety of digital marketing tools (e.g., SEO, SEM, e-mail). 
  • Develop and implement the e-mail marketing strategy and e-mail marketing briefs. 
  • Manage creation of engaging digital content for distribution across a range of channels, such as a website and social media platforms.
  • Closely collaborate with the graphic designers, photographers and videographers to enhance the visual content and product enrichment.
  • Develop interesting landing pages and optimize the content for SEO, PPC, social media, and blogging. 

Online Merchandising, within which you will:  

  • Oversee website catalogue and categorisation of products.
  • Oversee onsite upsell and cross-sell merchandising opportunities together with the eCommerce Manager. 
  • Categorize product list pages seasonally. 
  • Develop of high-quality key detail pages. 
  • Perform continuous website upkeep and improvements.
  • Ensure users have a pleasant experience. 
  • Test website functionality whenever new features are released. 
  • Collaborate with third parties to enrich product data and drive concession sales. 

Marketing & Customer Experience, within which you will:

  • Support omnichannel marketing strategy aligned with the marketing calendar.
  • Assist in the development of design of marketing materials for offline and internet stores. 
  • Support Customer Service in their efforts. 
  • Oversee the company reviews on social media platforms. 


  • 2+ years relevant eCommerce experience in a similar role.
  • Enthusiastic spirit and a ”can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to work closely together with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working experience with eCommerce platforms, Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe package (Photoshop in particular).
  • Familiarity with eCommerce product display standards. 
  • Capability of styling premium technical and fashion products. 
  • Solid experience executing online sales campaigns. 
  • Proven ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 

Good to have:  

  • Working knowledge of the fashion and retail environment would be preferable. 
  • SEO and Copywriting experience. 
  • Degree in eCommerce, marketing, business, or media preferred. 
  • Experience with graphic design projects.
