An established eCommerce agency in the UK is seeking an organized eCommerce Account Manager with proven analytical abilities to bolster their team and add practical knowledge of the digital world. 

Your week will be centered around providing strategy updates, prioritizing work in accordance with customer roadmaps and reviewing your clients' Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts in order to report on their results. Additionally, you will be a part of SEO migration projects, data layer implementation evaluations, strategy updates, and development partnerships.

Required skills 

  • Solid working experience with Google Analytics (implementation and configuration of web-tracking for rapidly growing eCommerce retailers) and Google Tag Manager (auditing data layers, management of implementation and maintenance of tags as well as documentation related to GTM processes). 
  • Experience collaborating with external and internal developers to ensure Google Tag Manager and Data Layer implementation are completed correctly for the leading MarTech tools such as BigCommerce. 
  • Conducting audits and correcting tracking configurations. 
  • Familiarity with using data visualisation tools (e.g. Google Data Studio) to create insightful reports and dashboards. 
  • Good command of Excel/Google Sheets. 
  • Hands on experience with paid platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads).  
  • IT experience. 
  • Time management and ability to deliver within agreed timelines. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams, maintain a culture of quality, and collaborate with various client profiles with ranging seniority. 

Good to have  

  • Practical experience of migrating to Google Analytics 4. 
  • Ability to convey knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to fellow team members. 
  • Understanding of different client requirements to determine bespoke tracking needs. 
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and reporting. 
  • Working experience with Google Merchant Centre and Google Search Console. 
  • Knowledge of marketing and acquisition strategies across a variety of channels. 
  • Expertise with SEO best practices and migrations with redirect file builds. 
  • Familiarity with eCommerce industry and trends.

  • Will evaluate workflows and develop a standardised approach. 
  • Is efficient with documentation processes and time management using Jira. 
  • Supports the clients in identification of key metrics used to analyse performance. 
  • Communicates clearly with the team to deliver the best results for the clients´ channels, provides constructive feedback and reports on projects progress. 
  • Proactively proposes improvements within the company´s approach. 
  • Participates in pitches and client proposal meetings.
