As Technical Director, you will contribute to the company’s growth and culture by working with authority and professionalism, which will include assigning tasks, providing direction and feedback to team members, ensuring the high quality of the digital development work, and showcasing the expertise that went into the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being in charge of the agency's technical teams (Front End and Back End Development) and accountable for the overall output quality.
  • Supervising the agency's technical output from conception to delivery, making sure that deadlines are fulfilled and client expectations are satisfied.
  • Attending monthly management team meetings and taking an active part in the agency's future direction.
  • Ensuring that the technical aspects of the projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as the company's technical face, emphasising thought leadership and specific sales presentations.
  • Setting an example for others to follow and encouraging them to share and explore their ideas.

  • Where necessary, take the reins in the technical team's hiring process.
  • Tracking team and project performance and alerting management to any problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Academic excellence preferred
  • 8+ years industry experience in technology
  • 5+ years experience in a cross-functional role, or 2 year+ experience in at least 2 of the following disciplines: Architecture design, Application Development, Web Development, Quality Assurance, Data, Analytics, CRM Operations, Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, risk management/compliance and related information security requirement
  • 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team orientation and sparkling interpersonal skills
