As Senior Business Development Manager your major priority will be to maximise sales and revenue by forming new partnerships from a portfolio of options.

Main Responsibilities

  • Arrange, establish, and manage productive working relationships with important potential partners to further the strategic objectives of Commercial Sales.
  • Discover, develop, and take advantage of a vast pipeline of new, significant business prospects.
  • Create a quality pipeline of sales opportunities by using a solution sales strategy to forge and create a deep grasp of customers' business and technological requirements.
  • Maintain the CarTrawler brand and commercial requirements at all times while preparing and submitting customer bids.
  • Take the helm in creating and presenting client solutions. Manage all pertinent internal and external relationships to deliver services and continuous support that will maximise client satisfaction.
  • Manage and advance all sales prospects through Salesforce, guaranteeing the accuracy and completeness of pertinent engagements and giving senior management and the CarTrawler Executive in-depth updates. Through active and effective pipeline management and sales execution, ensure sales targets are achieved on an ongoing basis.
  • Actively assist major internal stakeholders (such as the Product, Commercial, and Technical Teams) by providing them with a solid understanding of client and market demands.
  • Work together with other important departments (such as Product, UX, Legal, Finance, and Partner Management) throughout the sales process, especially when responding to RFPs and competitive tenders.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create powerful regional and international campaigns. Assist in the acquisition of Strategic Partners, working closely with the Director of Business Development (Strategic).
  • Management of partners, finances, and the legal throughout the sales process. 

Skills and Conditions

  • Five or more years of experience working in a sales environment, preferably in the travel sector.
  • A track record of success in selling to businesses. driven by success and with a strong will to triumph.
  • Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets while guaranteeing that client expectations are satisfied. Ability and confidence to operate and communicate effectively at all levels both in a professional and social setting.
  • High expectations for yourself and the rest of the firm to support consumer needs, as well as high motivation, ability to work under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Project management and organisational capabilities.
  • The capacity to work with data and reports and possess strong analytical abilities.
  • Technical product features can be effectively communicated thanks to a strong grasp of technology.
  • Possess proven day-to-day proficiency with Salesforce, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (CRM)
  • The capacity to adjust one's working habits and hours to changes in the workload.
