Our client is an established, fast-growing digital media production company in Cork, with over 50 employees, and is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the growth of two websites as well as drive subscription revenue with affiliate partners. 

As Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will have a vast knowledge of SEO/SEM and will have full ownership to develop and execute the marketing, technical, on-page and off-page SEO strategy of both sites. Experience working in SaaS is a definite advantage, as well as a proven track record in traffic growth. Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement end-to-end digital marketing capabilities and strategies that align with the needs and goals of the businesses.
  • Plan and manage a digital marketing and content campaign for web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising.
  • Develop a website traffic plan including lead generation and acquisition.
  • Report on analytics and performance to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the product manager to ensure that the implementation of the marketing technology strategy aligns with the implementation of the organisation’s broader digital strategy, product development and brand development.
  • Deliver organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
  • Conduct research (such as competitor, gap analysis, keyword and others) to optimise or find and implement new opportunities for SEO growth.
  • Identify improvements in website architecture from a technical SEO perspective and lead the delivery via the development team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.
  • Oversee SEO implementation across content, design, social media, and other marketing activities and keyword research.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong practical knowledge, 5+ years in a similar manager SEO/SEM-based role
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Webmaster tools, and Link Building.
  • Strong strategic capabilities and the leadership skills to implement strategy throughout the whole marketing department.
  • Demonstrable experience in customer segmentation, acquisition, and personalisation.
  • Previous experience in building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Project Management experience, advanced excel skills and previous experience with analytics tools such as power BI tableau or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills & an ability to communicate insights, reports, and queries in simple, clear terms; and
  • Experience in working in an organisation which is driven by Big Data insights.
  • Relevant Third Level qualification.
