One of Ireland’s most respected healthcare, eyecare and supplements brands is looking for a Marketing Executive to launch their innovative, award-winning brands into an important new market. You’ll be assisting senior export and product management staff to deliver marketing activities, planned marketing strategies, and brand awareness campaigns in collaboration with external content and design agencies. In addition, you’ll be overseeing retail campaign performance, ensuring KPIs are sound and delivering monthly reports.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing marketing support to Product Managers across targeted markets, and to senior Export Management staff, reporting to senior Product Management staff. 
  • Briefing out and managing asset requirements for retail marketing campaigns including artwork, translations, and digital asset content.
  • Performing market research and creating campaigns based on findings.
  • Analysing customer opinions to find market opportunities.
  • Liaising with senior staff to ensure that any synergies relating to new product launches or new assets can be leveraged efficiently.
  • Ensuring all campaign deadlines are successfully met.
  • Placing and managing ads in print media along with online advertising sources.
  • Writing and submitting content for flyers, brochures, and poster designs along with other retail marketing materials.
  • Ensuring all marketing materials are up to date and consistent with ongoing marketing strategy and brand guidelines
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for internal updates and reporting. 
  • Implementing pre-agreed marketing strategies. 
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activities.
  • Performing social media listening and reporting.
  • Carrying out general administration tasks. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in consumer or brand marketing in retail – experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare is a plus. 
  • You’ll have a strong understanding of marketing and consumer trends and how to optimise and apply them in a retail context
  • Solid knowledge of the Irish retail landscape. 
  • Proficiency with Adobe suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of HTML a distinct plus. 
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • You’ll have good interpersonal and strong communication skills, including excellent writing and language skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong Initiative are also needed.
  • You’ll be skilled at negotiating in a calm yet persuasive manner.
  • Outstanding commercial awareness to analyse data, extract insights and shape strategy.
  • High levels of creativity when developing campaigns.
  • You’ll have strong Excel knowledge and competent analytical skills.
