An established global insurance leader is looking to build out their target markets of UK and Canada with effective eCommerce and B2C marketing campaigns to deliver high-quality products and seamless customer experience in addition to growing their organic presence. 

You’ll be working as part of a unique specialist digital team centred on UX, CX, SEO, content, and front-end development. The role is responsible for managing, updating, and optimising the website through rigorous testing and smooth delivery. You’ll oversee various brands and work seamlessly with both the UK and North American teams.

  • Gathering requirements, scoping project briefs, and creating project plans and timelines.
  • Setting tasks to support wider project plans and ensure all requirements are covered by the overall plan. 
  • Overseeing the refining the requirements for each new feature and clearly articulating the value proposition of a change to teams carrying out the work.  
  • Collating task estimates and planning work/tasks for the work sprints.
  • Leading sprint planning to ensure teams are clear on future work plans.  
  • Ongoing monitoring of sprint tasks to ensure teams are meeting deadlines. 
  • Documenting all requirements during the project design phase to be briefed to the technical team.
  • Leading review meetings with stakeholders and tracking actions, notes, and setting next steps.  
  • Coordinating release deliverables and implementation timeline, as well as supporting the testing and release process. 
  • Managing dependencies across releases to complete release phases and project milestones.
  • Ensuring business feedback and requests, testing and/or releases are seamlessly integrated into new feature planning and development processes.
  • Maintaining release notes and communicating new feature and release status to a core group of stakeholders.
  • Managing task boards to ensure work is aligned with main priorities. 
  • Collaborating with design team, development teams, performance marketing team and content team, among others.


  • 3+ years’ experience with digital/website project management (full project life cycle) with proven success. 
  • 3+ years’ experience managing sprint cycles, work allocation and delivery for design and/or development teams with examples of successful projects
  • Track record of efficiently managing senior stakeholder expectations
  • Proficiency managing a full digital/website project life cycle: initial briefing, scoping, planning, executing, monitoring, and final delivery. 
  • Strong understanding of web UX and design process and principles.
  • You’ll be confident tracking specific goals to completion for content, creative and development teams.
  • High level of detail and documentation – note-taking, action and task distribution and stakeholder communication with high levels of JIRA, MS Project, and MS Excel experience.
  • Confidence managing assets to ensure seamless, on-time delivery, with testing for website launches and improvements – working to deadlines is a must.
  • You’ll be excellent at task briefing and management, ensuring clear requirements for the design and development teams and leading productive sprints across multiple projects.
  • Proficient at dealing effectively with unstructured problems and situations and incorporating them into processes. 
  • Demonstrable experience managing senior stakeholder expectations.
  • You’ll have a passion for performance, release planning, quality assurance and product optimization.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and communication skills
  • Can work to a deadline and with urgency.
  • You’ll be task-motivated, and keen to go the extra mile to get results and meet deadlines.
