In this position, you’ll oversee a wide range of communications and marketing campaigns, both paid and organic, for the Carr Golf Group and their clients. This is a fantastic position for an ambitious, growth-focused marketer experienced with leisure and travel services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designing and delivering digital campaigns to promote Carr Golf across its brand portfolio.
  • Developing, delivering, and optimizing targeted PPC/Google Ads strategy.
  • Maximising campaign ROI, leveraging budget management tools, optimizing keywords and ad text.
  • Conducting keyword research to shape, refine and optimise content generation.
  • Developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies.
  • Building and managing frameworks for KPI reporting for web traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics.
  • Improving online conversion rates for key domestic and international B2C and B2B markets.
  • Reporting and analysing metrics with recommendations on improving campaign performance.
  • Conducting A/B or test and learn programmes to maximise engagement and ROAS.
  • Leading updating and educating colleagues on PPC and SEM trends.
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and how to meet them.
  • Leveraging feedback and campaign data for recommendations on improving products, services, and customer experience. 
  • Adhering strictly to confidentiality arrangements across all aspects of the role, including outside office hours.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Marketing or Business Studies related degree required and Google Ads qualification.
  • Two years’ experience in a delivery role at an agency or fast-paced client role.
  • Full Driving License and own car.
  • Proven experience in an SEO or PPC role with knowledge of industry-standard tools: GA, GSC, WebTrends and SEMrush, with basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • You’ll have an analytical mindset to concisely summarise and clearly present data.
  • An excellent understanding of social media platforms and how to leverage them.
  • A strong knowledge of golf is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Client- and customer-focused individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyse and present solutions to match customer needs.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, but also able to react quickly to business needs. 
  • You’ll be able to set out your own work in a structured fashion to deliver on goals with strong attention to detail.
  • You’ll have the flexibility to work in a fast-paced working environment and respond to competing needs, with the motivation to see projects through to completion.
