A reputable and well-known Irish retail brand is looking for a eCommerce Assistant to help power the future growth of their retail and revenue channels. After a period of extraordinary growth, the company is looking to consolidate the results with high-quality eCommerce and digital channels.  

What do they need you to do? Ensure the company’s websites and eCommerce pages are high-performing, attractive and optimised. You’ll be assisting with managing, forecasting and delivering great KPIs from both a strategic and a hands-on point of view. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensuring high-quality eCommerce content is uploaded across the brand’s high-performing main websites, covering new product releases and bespoke landing pages.  
  • Writing detailed, compelling and SEO optimised product descriptions. 
  • Assisting with website SEO, content and functionality to ensure optimisation. 
  • Managing eCommerce and digital marketing budgets for maximum ROI/ROAS. 
  • Contributing to commercial performance, including forecasting eCommerce performance metrics. 
  • Using analytics to identify opportunities for website improvement and delivering recommendations. 
  • Conducting competitor and keyword analysis to identify opportunites for growth. 
  • Testing new on-site features 
  • Monitoring website performance and managing optimisations. 
  • Assisting with internal comms on eCommerce & Digital objectives. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in an online marketing environment, ideally B2C or retail. 
  • Commercial acumen, with confidence using Google Analytics or similar. 
  • Digital or eCommerce qualification an advantage, or equivalent experience.  
  • Confidence in technical skills for web work and online presence. 
  • Proficiency in Excel is a real advantage. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build great relationships cross functionally. 
  • You should be motivated, flexible and take a positive attitude to your responsibilities.  
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines with multiple projects. 
  • You’ll have a passion for innovation and productive change
