One of Ireland’s best-known leisure retailers is consolidating their web presence and is looking for a creative and experienced eCommerce Manager to join their team and drive their online presence and customer service.  

You’ll be in charge of managing the digital budgets, assets and merchandising in line with their offline stores. This is a great opportunity to optimise their online retail platform and deliver excellent customer service in collaboration with external agencies and partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Delivering key business objectives by driving online traffic, growing online sales and increasing online conversion rate. 
  • Overseeing online product catalogue upload, online merchandising, and brand product management. 
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure that the digital store adheres to best eCommerce practice and is aligned with bricks and mortar stores. 
  • Managing daily stock and inventory. 
  • Overseeing external agency and partner management including developers,  shipping and on-site integrations. 
  • Working directly with our Marketing Manager to evaluate, optimise and update the website according to calendar, promotions, and other events. 
  • Managing and optimising digital advertising and traffic: SEO, PPC and Display 
  • Overseeing regular analytical reporting and recommending plans to develop business KPIs. 
  • Keeping up to date with eCommerce best practice and recommending strategies for digital marketing and eCommerce opportunities. 
  • Providing ad hoc support for additional business requirements. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar eCommerce role 
  • You’ll be a technically minded collaborative team player, customer centric and strategic thinker. 
  • Proficiency in website and consumer analytics skills, ability to link site design and features to meet objectives. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Content Management Systems and Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience with eCommerce and email marketing platforms: Shopify and Klaviyo are essential. 
  • Demonstrable experience creating, optimising, and reporting on campaigns using Google Suite for SEO and PPC campaigns.  
  • You’ll need a strong interest in and knowledge of the Irish retail landscape. 
  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS desirable. 
  • Customer service experience desirable.
