Our client has just launched a brand-new business focussing on sustainable packaging for eCommerce and retail brands in the UK with innovative solutions and the ambition to be 100% plastic free, sustainable, and easy to use. Now they need a Digital Marketing Specialist to drive their marketing efforts, conversions, and revenue in this next phase. 

You’ll be managing and ensuring optimisation of the company’s digital marketing and media planning/buying campaigns with internal team and external agencies to oversee high-quality conversions and ROAS. Along the way, you’ll be responsible for reporting on results, KPIs, trends, and planning future strategies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering, coordinating and implementing overall digital marketing strategy for the eCommerce platform and website.
  • Planning and controlling the overall budget for the market
  • Managing agencies responsible for driving keyword research and management (search terms, negative keywords etc).
  • Planning and managing SEO and PPC campaign strategy with our partners across a variety of platforms, in addition to overseeing account management and optimisation. 
  • Leading on media planning and buying strategy and implementation.
  • Reviewing and optimising bidding at keyword, placement, device, geographic, demographic, and other levels.
  • Overseeing the creation of concise copy for CTAs on ads for high CTRs to landing pages to maximise conversion rates.
  • Improving website conversion rates by optimising front-end processes using A/B testing techniques
  • Ensuring use of tracking to better evaluate leads/conversion rates.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and presenting campaigns with reports for clients explaining trends, goals, opportunities, and other KPIs.
  • Monitoring marketing and relevant industry trends and applying them to the campaigns to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Plan and deploy the social media strategy

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid experience in digital marketing strategy and proficient in SEO and ad management is a must
  • Track record with media planning/buying and experience delivering solid ROI.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, GSC and Analytics is also required, preferably with Google qualifications.
  • Confidence with data analysis and, more importantly, translating data into digestible reports and actionable strategy.
  • Experience in designing and coordinating marketing and strategies for social media platforms.
  • You’ll be confident managing third parties and other team members.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You’ll have a detail-oriented mindset, with great interpersonal skills, and confidence in creating and presenting your own work.
  • Competence in creating overall marketing and media strategies and implementing them. 
  • Your creativity, analytical and research skills will be very welcome here, as will your problem-solving skills are also needed on a regular basis.
