This is an excellent position for a marketing manager to lead on strategic planning and deliver growth objectives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Taking ownership of the Digital Investment portfolio with 360-degree vision of the spend to optimise performance. 
  • Leveraging trends and data analysis to confirm alignment with strategy and informing key decision making to improve digital team output.
  • Reviewing and delivering insight on portfolio changes needed to feed into governance and overall objectives.
  • Leading on working innovation and expertise, and showing a strategic approach to problem solving to deliver digital success, oversight and governance
  • Driving alignment via the business digital programmes, helping to build and drive a common understanding and purpose through monitoring, driving and communicating key KPIs & roadmaps aligned to goals
  • Understanding overall plans within the marketing department and how  to deliver it holistically with Digital as a core function, identifying gaps and leveraging strategic thinking to resolve 
  • Driving KPIs linked to ongoing growth across lead generation, website optimisation, bounce rates, SEO ranking, organic and paid performance.
  • Leading on digital marketing analysis & insight feeding into business plans and revenue goals. 
  • Identifying areas of risk and opportunity requiring additional focus.
  • Leading on performance and optimisation of digital marketing avenues including: paid search, lead generation strategy.
  • Developing, coaching and expanding the digital marketing team and their objectives and projects.
  • Collaborating with the CMO to take digital marketing function to the next level and adjusting department performance and business goals.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years’ digital marketing experience with 5 years’ management experience at a senior/strategic level managing direct reports.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate strategic planning experience, strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Passionate about digital performance as a key ROI contributor in the department and business
  • Confidence leading, directing and auditing across SEO, Google Analytics, marketing CRM, automation and third-party software to ensure data hygiene and clear reporting on performance against objectives.
  • Ability to work proactively and respond to change with efficiency, accuracy and fluently with data-based insights.
  • Proven ability to upskill with tools and techniques at speed.
  • Experience in creating and executing cross-functional plans where digital leads positive change for the business and client retention supports.
  • You’ll be skilled at simplifying concepts, explaining technical work to non-technical people and lead on educating the digital team, wider marketing team and supporting departments.
  • Resilience and energy are key in this position, and you’ll need drive and focus over long, challenging project timelines to motivate key stakeholders and contributors.
  • You’ll have a growth mindset seeking to support departments and team members within the business leading to successful results and output.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You’ll be confident, articulate, and skilled in negotiation.
