As a market leader, our client is seeking an experienced and passionate PR & Communications Manager to drive their key brand objectives and support all aspects of marketing department in accelerating their brand goals. This will cover PR, partnerships, media buying, communications, copywriting, and general marketing activities. 

This role will be key in supporting the overall Marketing objectives of the department and will report directly to the CMO. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Marketing and PR to lead a dynamic and fast paced agenda working alongside a skilled marketing team. 

You will be responsible for the PR strategy and goals for the business, while leading the strategy with the rest of the marketing team, and internal communications where required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and continuously nurture with the PR & comms strategy with associated KPIs
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams 
  • Lead external third parties where relevant for creation of PR &media assets or directing PR partners
  • Develop and manage all PR & brand marketing activities, including strategy, targets, budgeting, pm an communications between marketing department and the departments we support
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media on an ongoing basis
  • Generate brand marketing initiatives that will generate PR coverage and content for the business such as partnerships, sponsorships, events, award submissions and brand influencers
  • Monthly analysis and reporting on all PR activities/ KPIs and ROI for the business and marketing projects
  • Deal directly with government bodies, commercial agencies, and support media relation materials in line with sales and BD team
  • Curate, plan and manage media buying and sponsorships in line with planned PR
  • Act as consultant and partner to Sales Business Development goals
  • Lead, compose and write for marketing, press, storytelling, pitch angles, award entries etc
  • Act as copywriting lead and consultant for rest of marketing team

Knowledge & Skills:

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent writing/ copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • A flair for storytelling
  • Developing strategic Marketing & Communications campaigns that drive corporate, business and branding goals
  • Digital savvy, with hands-on experience using social media platforms for public relations purposes as well as tracking impact of publicity or marketing communications activities so you may partner and lead PR activities with team partners
  • Confident and experienced in preparing and presenting internal and external presentations and messaging for various internal and external engagements
  • Strong project management skills

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar qualifications in related disciplines.
