Digital Communications Specialist

A major niche publisher is currently seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist to enhance their brand image and assist in growing sales for their print publications & digital platforms, based at their office based in south Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing creative marketing campaigns to increase circulation sales
  • Co-ordinating promotions across Radio, PR, Social Media, Email Marketing, Display and Video
  • Developing and promoting the employer branding both internally and externally across various channels
  • Preparing the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Developing actionable insights from reader market research, via print, online and events
  • Working with the events team on branding & messaging for upcoming events
  • Preparing marketing proposals for reader competitions and partnerships
  • Increasing the specialist teams profile through an effective PR strategy, via writing press releases, pitching stories, photo calls, and direct mails to media outlets
  • Managing the sponsorship budget and maximising its effective use
  • Developing a deep understanding of the products and differentiators involved, so you can increase awareness of the brand more strategically
  • Brainstorming ideas and insights for marketing campaigns
  • Creating monthly reports, to show how the budget is being used and KPI's are being met

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing
  • Good digital marketing skillset
  • Strong communication and English skills
  • MS office skills, i.e. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • A farming or rural background is an excellent advantage
