Head of Business Intelligence
Our client is a leading ecommerce portal, one that employs 1000s and is firmly placed within the top drawer of online brands within Ireland and internationally.
Right now, they are seeking to make the key appointment of a Head of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics.
The successful candidate for this role will be a commercially driven leader who has managed a team of experienced analysts, but also has excellent Strategic Business Intelligence experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Business Intelligence function of the business and manage all responsibilities associated with the function.
Execute the vision for delivering the analytics platform and solutions to the business key stake holders including stakeholders, partners and teams.
Implement BI strategy to drive business forward.
Lead analytical projects that drive key business decisions around acquisition, retention and profitability.
Work with the marketing department to oversee all analytics, business intelligence and research requirements for the marketing function.
Select and Manage partners and agencies that are employed strategy.
Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, Dashboards and reporting on consumer-based data.

Requirements.
5 years of experience in a directly related area, during which are both professional/technical management experience.
Proven BI/Analytic tools/platforms across multinational, large scale organisations.
Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes.
Data modelling, both logical and physical.
SQL databases and architecture.
A solid understanding of key BI trend and best practises.
A third level degree/Masters in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business intelligence.
Conversion Optimisation and Customer Experience best practise is a distinct advantage.
