Social Media Manager - Sports

Our client is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager, who is a natural leader and expert in social media, campaign planning and content creation, with experience working with sports or gaming companies, to grow my client's brand awareness and engagement.

The ideal candidate should have experience leading a successful team as well as developing social strategy and engaging content for all social channels.

Main responsibility:

Manage the social media team, creating content strategy, editorial calendar as well as activities and target measurement

Take ownership of social media strategy and planning, continuously evolving the strategy with the team

Liaise with stakeholders and agencies to develop an overall communications plan, create engaging content and lead campaign development

Work with advertising team to develop posting strategy and target as well as working with branding team to suggest ideas and content to drive their brand awareness


Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing especially with social media management

Successful track record of building and leading efficient team

Extensive knowledge of sports, being up to date about all topics related

Good branding understanding, being able to generate content that will grow the brand engagement

Expertise in Social media, having extensive experience creating multimedia content and editorial calendar across all social channels

Data driven professional, measuring performance against the competitors and defining target to grow the brand's content presence.
