INTERACTIVE DESIGNER A lot of agencies seem to look at consumers as being out there, over there, somewhere else, seperate, a species that needs to be studied and categorised. Our client are different - they dive in, they know what consumers are, and have a proven instinct for what consumers want. 40 awards since 2004 This integrated agency seem to have a mind meld going on with consumer groups, and have proven this fact by delivering fantastic interactive design solutions for blue chip companies and organisations. Right now they are looking for a top drawer Interactive Designer, one who is immensely creative, innovative, and one who HAS GOT TO BE native to the digital space. In other words, you have to live, socialise, shop and all the other stuff online. You are a consumer, you interact on a daily basis. No explorers please. In this role you will be reporting to the Digital Creative Director but working as part of a larger team with people of different creative disciplines. Flash and Photoshop proficiency are vital. As are knowledge of HTML, XML and ActionScript. Any other abilities such as 3D knowledge, video/audio abilities will strengthen any application. As well as the ability to confidently discuss and shape designs that will take the client’s breath away, you will be able to demonstrate in-depth experience in a busy creative team in a digital agency environment. You'll have a passion for beautifully executed design, and a strong user experience. Responsibilities include: · Providing creative designs and innovative solutions for digital - e.g. Websites, Flash Advertising. · You will confidently take a concept through from idea stage, to presentation and then to delivery. · Must work well with people of different creative backgrounds. · Be able to work well within the limits of various brand guidelines that exist with a particular project. · Deliver high-level mock-ups/storyboards to communicate design requirements. The successful candidate should possess: · BA/BSC in art disciplines: Animation, Multimedia Design, Interactive Design or similar. · Proficient in Flash and Photoshop – may be required to learn other applications swiftly. · A strong understanding of programming in particular HTML, ActionScript and XML. · A command of typography, colour, composition, hierarchy, user journeys, interface design, interactive design, interactive marketing, online advertising and an understanding of how these elements work together for a design solution. · Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment · Strong innovative critical thinking and problem solving abilities Please forward your CV and a link to your online portfolio to ellie@prosperity.ie or contact me on 6090167 for a confidential chat.
